Key Features:
Liquid gameplay - Vessel is built on an optimized liquid simulation containing flowing water, steaming lava, steam, chemical reactants, glowing slurries, mysterious "protoplasms" and more. Each liquid has unique properties and reacts with other liquids to produce shocking effects.
Bring the liquid to life - Influence "Fluro" creatures, which are made entirely of simulated liquid. Each creature retains the properties of the liquid from which it was created. This gives them the ability to melt, transform, absorb, explode and more.
Unique Puzzles - Solve puzzles by combining the unique behaviors of each creature along with the liquid from which they were created. Every aspect of the world is physically simulated, and all puzzles are based on liquid modeling. Create a "Drinker Fluro" and lure it by spraying ooze. Create a "Dark Fluro" and chase it with light. Liquid and physics are not an aesthetic element, but the basis of gameplay.
Two-dimensional and three-dimensional hybrid art style - Explore a world of fantastic and detailed machines and weird and wonderful environments. Two-dimensional hand-drawn textures combined with three-dimensional maps, lighting and depth create a unique look that is like out of this world.
Upgrade your equipment - Use the mysterious protoplasm to upgrade your equipment, gaining new advanced methods of fluid manipulation.
Jon Hopkins Soundtrack - Includes a full-length electronic music soundtrack created by Jon Hopkins, known internationally for his collaborations with Brian Eno, Imogen Heap and Coldplay.
